NWI K9 Search and Recovery (SAR) is a 501(c)3 IRS recognized, non-profit, charitable organization. They are comprised of all volunteer K9 Handler Teams dedicated to locating missing persons. Their primary focus is Human Remains Detection, and they partner with other search agencies to provide the most thorough asset base possible for each situation.

​Their K9 Teams adhere to national standards of training and operational procedures. They hold nationally recognized certifications and attend national training seminars in all aspects of Search and Recovery annually.

NWI K9 SAR responds to requests from Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Management Services with authority over the incident. They do not charge for our services, and we are available year-round.
